Dr. Megan Lynch
Assistant Principal at Nottingham Elementary School
Megan Lynch was born and raised in Woodbridge, VA. She attended college at Indiana University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education with a focus in French. She attended the University of Virginia to earn a Master’s Degree in Education. Later, she earned a PhD from George Mason University in Education Leadership and Policy. Prior to teaching in Arlington Public Schools, she taught for nine years in Prince William County. She began teaching in APS in 2015 and became an assistant principal at Nottingham in 2018. Her interests include multicultural and multilingual education, early childhood literacy, equity and access in education, and her family. In her spare time, she can be found hiking with her family, traveling to the midwest to visit family and friends, refinishing furniture, or volunteering with the organization People.Animals.Love with her dog, Quincy.
