Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week – May 8-12, 2017
Mr. Koutsouftikis and I appreciate the support of our PTA in sponsoring a delicious and heartfelt week of thank you’s for our instructional staff! We are fortunate indeed to experience daily the creative and engaging work of our colleagues and their efforts to provide a fun and engaging educational experience for our Knights. If you are on Twitter and want to help us highlight your appreciation, please use the hashtag: #ThankAPSTeachers.
Our teachers look forward to the following PTA sponsored treats:
- Monday: Duck Donuts and coffee for breakfast
- Tuesday: Books for the classroom
- Wednesday: Notes/Drawings from students indicating their favorite part of the school year. ***Frozen Yogurt treat after school.
- Thursday: “Thank you!” Get ready to receive special notes from our Knights as a kind way to let you know how much they care.
- Friday: Lebanese Taverna lunch
If you were fortunate enough to be at yesterday/ last evening’s Orchestra and Band concert, you no doubt were impressed by the teaching talent of instrumental music teacher Randy Glasner. It is a joy to experience the growth and depth of the musical talent he is able to nurture from our Knights! Knights in grade 3 will be invited to an Instrument Petting Zoo towards the end of the academic year.
