World Languages Day – March 8, 2017

FLES Performance:An update from Sra. McKenzie:

Nottingham Knights made us proud! Only in their third year since FLES was implemented at Nottingham, our Knights did a great job at reciting poetry, performing a skit, and singing a song for the World Languages Day at the Arlington Career Center on Wednesday, March 8.

Second graders Emery, Jackie, Sydney, Xavier and Harper recited two poems, El Barquito de papel, and Alla en la Fuente. Both of these poems were written by Mexican authors.

Fourth graders Aida, Karin, and Claudia wrote and performed their own skit/song titled ¿Qué llevas puesto?

Fifth grade student Kelly recited the poem, El Mar, with much emotion.

The last group to present included another group of 4th grade Knights, Andrew, Jack, Meredith, Wylie, Collin, J.J., Max, Mitchell, and Mason. They sang Hall of Fame translated into a Spanish rap.

Great job, Knights!
