Nottingham provides speech and language services to students eligible under state and federal (IDEA) law ages preschool through fifth grade. Speech and language services include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders which adversely affect a student’s educational performance. An evaluation of speech and language skills may include articulation and oral motor skills, voice, fluency, receptive, expressive and social/pragmatic language skills. An eligibility committee decides whether or not a child is eligible to receive speech-language services. Please contact Nottingham’s Speech – Language Pathologist, Mrs. Davis for more information.
