We believe that all children can learn and be successful. Each child is an individual and should be provided the opportunity to an environment to learn at his or her own pace. We believe that each child should be given the opportunity to develop his or her best potential mentally, physically, and socially so he or she can become a productive, creative, and responsible member of society. In 3rd grade, we encourage the development of responsibility, independence, and autonomy.
Students will be occupied in a variety of individual and collaborative work designed to accommodate their diverse and individual learning styles. The third-grade curriculum will combine basic skills, authentic learning, and critical thinking.

Hi! My name is Rebecca Campbell. I was born here in Arlington but grew up in Leesburg, Virginia. I went to Virginia Commonwealth University for both my undergrad and graduate degrees. When I'm not working, I love hanging out with my loved ones - especially my almost 1-year-old daughter, soaking up some sun on the beach, and exploring the gorgeous hiking trails here in Virginia. I'm thrilled to teach 3rd grade at Nottingham again and look forward to getting to know you better!

Hello Nottingham families! This will be my 1st year teaching at Nottingham and I am so excited to join this wonderful community! I previously taught 3rd and 5th grade in APS for the past 10 years at Hoffman-Boston Elementary School. I grew up in upstate New York and I live with my French Bulldog, Remy. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2011 and am working towards completing a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology at Virginia Tech. When I'm not teaching, I love to play card games, pickleball, golf, go to the gym, and cook. I'm looking forward to a fantastic school year!

I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2022, and again with my master's this past summer. In my free time, I love spending time with friends and family and exploring the Arlington area!
